Breakfast Health Bars

INGREDIENTS:

250g butter/marg
2 cups flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup sesame seeds
¾ cup sunflower seeds
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp mixed spice
1 cup coconut
¾ cup oats
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups raisins
1 cup sultanas
1 cup cranberries
2 well beaten eggs
2 handfuls crushed all bran flakes

METHOD:

  1. Melt butter/marg and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Beat the eggs and mix into the cooled, melted butter.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients together. Stir in the butter/egg mixture and mix well.
  4. Press into a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  5. Cut into squares when cool.
