Dark Chocolate vs Milk Chocolate

Chocolate is made from varying amounts of cacao, which is a plant that contains minerals and antioxidants that has been found to be beneficial to the body. Dark chocolate contains less milk than milk chocolate, and it has a higher percentage of cocoa and usually contains less sugar depending on the manufacturer.

Hence the trick is to look for dark chocolates with a higher percentage of cocoa and a smaller percentage of sugar. Although dark chocolate does contain more of the beneficial minerals and antioxidants and might be the preferred choice, all chocolates are calorie dense and should be consumed in moderation.
